Cho Yung Tea

Green Tea For Weight Loss – Video Exploration

October 12, 2010 by david

Here is a video about Green Tea and how at least one study shows that green tea might help with weight loss:

As mentioned in the video – one study does not make it true!  But, on the other hand, is there any evidence that says it is not true?

You can read more about this topic here:

https://tobeinformed.com/1334/green-tea-for-weight-loss-does-green-tea-promote-weight-loss/

Since we are on the topic, I guess I’ll add my two cents – Aren’t all these commercials about ‘asking your doctor about X drug disgusting’?  Shouldn’t my doctor be telling me if something is right for me?

I do not usually watch TV but the last time I actually sat down and did, I was astounded.  It seemed like every other commercial was about a new drug!

There seems to be something almost obscenely perverse about this.

Therefore, I would like to remind readers of this blog that there are alternative, natural remedies out there that could use a little investigation.

I understand that it doesn’t benefit the pharmaceutical companies at all to have knowledge of the old things that worked 100 years ago around, but it really is time that we start to focus on cheap, simple, powerful plant chemicals with LESS side effects that are perfectly capable of helping people become healthy again.  Did you know that many of today’s pharmaceutical drugs are simply synthetic, slightly altered, copies of naturally occuring plant chemicals.

Ok, I’m done ranting now – thanks for listening and spread the word!

A nice place to look for ‘closer to nature’ remedies is https://www.GoodHerbalRemedies.com

Today, I was in the park.  It was the first time I have gone to the park in a while.  I’ve been busy working in front of a computer,  couped up inside for days, maybe weeks.

Once you spend time in nature, it may start dawn on you that nature holds a lot that we should not forget.  It is the environment we ‘grew up’ in as a species.

I think that if we listen closely, nature has a lot to teach us still. I think we should listen.

Green Tea For Weight Loss – Does Green Tea Promote Weight Loss?

October 3, 2010 by david

tea magicLooking for proof that green tea works for weight loss? Here is a study conducted at Khon Kaen University in Thailand by the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18006026

To be sure, proof is a tricky thing and not everyone agrees on what constitutes “proof”. Where this is one viewpoint there is almost always an opposing viewpoint. So there will surely be people who disagree with the results of this study.

Also, be aware that one study isn’t generally accepted as proof.

Another study, which can be found here:

https://www.ars.usda.gov/research/publications/publications.htm?seq_no_115=234600

… seems to suggest that combined with exercise there did appear a reduction in abdominal fat and subcutaneous fat in the green tea drinking group.

Again, the mainstream scientists (many of whom may be working for or in conjunction with pharmaceutical companies) do not feel there is enough evidence to definitively state that green tea works for weight loss.

Yet, here is a run down about what some scientists think green tea may be good for: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/natural/960.html

–> Click HERE for a commercial option for green tea that is alledged to promote weight loss. <–

Notice, that I did not say that it would promote weight loss. That is because I do not wish to incur the wrath of the FDA. 🙂 I am merely stating that it is being sold as a weight loss solution.

I have frequently been disturbed by what the ‘mainstream’ scientists accept as proof and what they do not. However, it really does not matter. My chief argument would be that if you have not definitely proven that something does not work – then you owe us either a definitive study that disproves the hypothesis or two or you owe us silence on the matter! 🙂

However, I must concede that the same ‘mainstream’ group will likely object to my objection. Oh, well – I guess that is ok.

The last link above says some interesting things about what green tea might do even if they say that their is inconclusive evidence about the weight loss claims.

Here are some of the interesting points:

A topical green tea extract ointment is likely good for combating Genital Warts – they cite an FDA approved green tea ointment for this purpose.

Mental alertness – based on the caffeine content of the tea.

Here are some other non-weightloss purposes:

– Preventing bladder, esophageal, ovarian and pancreatic cancers

– Delaying or preventing the onset of Parkinson’s

– Here is an interesting one:

Decreasing high levels of fat, like cholesterol and triglycerides, in the blood (hyperlipidemia).

Again, here is that commercial green tea preparation.

Well, I think that is enough to stimulate your imagination about the possibilities of green tea. If you have some positive or even negative comments about any aspect of green tea, please leave a comment below!

Remember, not all scientists or government bodies agree on the facts or even what those facts are. Consult your doctor before changing your diet or level of exercise.

Cho-Yung Tea – What Is It?

June 8, 2010 by david

green-teaCho-Yung Tea has been creating quite a stir recently.

Some are searching for terms like: cho yung tea results.

What is this Cho Yung tea stuff about? Well, it is being promoted as a weight loss program.

From my research I have found that Cho Yung is simply a form of green tea thought to have slimming properties.

At the time of this writing, the people who are running the Cho-Yung Tea company seem to be providing help via chat, telephone and other means to their customers.

This Chinese weight loss tea is abailable to folks who live in the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.

If you live in the United States you cannot get this particular product. You could try a moderate exercise program under your doctor’s advice plus drinking regular green tea. But the exercise change alone may be your ticket. Again, be under the care of a physician before changing your current level of exercise (or lack thereof).

If you really want to lose weight via exercise, learn how here.

If you are interested in proper exercise, plus well designed meal plans and basically the same information in another format, try this very popular weight loss information.

However, The Cho-Yung tea offer is available to people in manyother countries (outside the US). Click here to see it.

Save on shipping: There is a promotion offer, type in ‘offer’ or ‘trial’ and you should obtain a reduced price on your shipping.

Does Cho-Yung Work?

The company that offers this product claims that the Chinese Ministry of Health supports the claims around weight loss.

I was not able to find documented scientific proof from any professional journals – however: Many medical and scientific industries are just not going to study natural things like tea and echinacea and herbal remedies. This is because there is no profit in an item they cannot patent and control.

Of course, this does not mean natural things do not work. After all, for many thousands of years indigenous people have always found natural remedies and cures right in their environment. They made it through all those years without the benefits of modern prescription medicine!

Tea contains polyphenols. Some say they can help prevent cancer and heart disease, others are not sure.

Interesting isn’t it? There seems to be enough smart alternative healers promoting natural remedies – that tells me their is something there – something worth investigating

The Good News

The official site states that they have a money-back guarantee under their FAQ section. They state they want everyone to “begin experiencing weight loss before paying for the product”. This should relieve you of any worries. You can try it ‘risk free’ and see if it works for you!
