Can The HydroFloss Help With Gum Disease?

August 24, 2019 by Dave

While each human body is different which makes it impossible to definitively answer this question, I can provide information and subjective experiences.

Periodontal Pockets

The only objective measurement for gum disease is something called periodontal pocket depths.

Most dental professionals would agree that when those pockets are at 3mm or less your gums are healthy.

Most would also agree that when you are at 4mm or more, you have a problem.   a.k.a.  gum disease

Usually when this happens, dental offices would like to perform a SRP or ‘Scaling and Root Planing’ on you.

This is an expensive and painful (after the anesthetic wears off – if they use one) experience.

How I Shrunk My Periodontal Pockets

My dentist wanted to do a SRP or ‘deep cleaning’ on me for quite some time.  I kept saying no to the treatment and tried to find something that would work.

I tried various toothpastes and mouthwashes, essential oils and oil pulling (although I may have used the wrong kind of oil).    If you are going to try it, I suspect coconut oil would be a better choice.

Nothing worked for me!   And after several visits the dentist was still after me for the ‘deep cleaning’ treatment.

Finally, I found the HydroFloss Oral Irrigator that you see pictured above.   It worked!   It shrunk my pockets down and the dentists said, “Whatever you are doing, keep it up.  You don’t need that treatment anymore”.

She didn’t seem interested in knowing what I did.  Which I found quite strange.

Aktiv Oxigen Drops For Better Dental Health

February 22, 2013 by Dave

AktivOxigen is a concentrated solution that comes in d dropper bottle.   You should mix it with water or fruit juice.   You can also add it to your Hydro Floss (just 8 drops).

Oxygen is the bane of anearobic bacteria.  Those are the ones who cause us dental health problems like bad breath, gum disease and cavities.   Their acid byproducts (waste) are the problem.

Turns out, these ‘bad bacteria’ do not like oxygen.   Therefore, oxygen turns out to be our friend.   Obviously, we need it to breath.  But many alternative health care people really believe in the power of oxygen.     A home ozone generator is another source of oxygen.

One bottle of this potent AktivOxigen serum can make about 60 doses of mouthwash for you – just follow the instructions that come with it.

It is vegan approved and has NOT been tested on animals.  Aktiv-Oxigen is also Kosher certified.

Aktiv-Oxigen is a CL02 – no flavor added.  Use only about 8 drops to make a mouthrinse or for use in your Hydro Floss.

It is also available in 3 Pak form.

I once had a customer tell me he obtained great results from this for a difficult dental health problem he was facing.  I won’t go into details about his private information.   But, I mention it to let you know that people do believe it has been greatly beneficial to them.

Sincerely,

David

What You Should Know About Gum Disease – Part 7

The Took I Suggest to Help Improve and Protect  your gums

Part 7 Of What You Should Know About Gum Disease

In this video we continue onwards on our journey to put at least the first four chapters of the book on Video.

You can ask questions about this material anytime you would like to.   The phone number is 1-888-586-6849.

You can also reach me here.
As I hope you understand by now,  gum disease is a very serious problem that afflicts A LOT of people.   In fact, most dental professionals will say that about 75% of people have some for of this disease right now!

That means you will want to work on protecting your family and yourself  right away.

It’s A Big Bad World Out  There

It sure seems like everyone wants to get their hands in your wallet now-a-days , doesn’t it?    Here is an analogy I like to draw:

Say you go to your mechanic once a year and he charges you 5 grand every time to give you a new engine.   He does that year after year for you.   How wonderful that you have someone who will replace your engine every year.

Yet, there is a problem.   This mechanic could simply teach you a little bit about prevention —  such as,  change your oil every 3,000 miles…  And then you would not have to spend 5 Grand every year.

In either case, you are happy.   But if you knew the truth, you would be saving 5 Grand every year.     And of course, if you ever figured it out, you would be very unhappy.   So, there is really no incentive to tell you (on the part of the mechanic)  plus, he would be losing 5 Grand every year.    Interesting, isn’t it?

A Little Info Goes A Long Way

I wrote the book because I faced a similar situation but with my teeth and gums.   I wanted people to know this information so they could protect themselves and their loved ones.  Saving money and the pain of recovery from expensive treatments is definitely worth a few bucks.    In order to save thousands, that just makes sense doesn’t it?

I speak in General terms only here.   For specific questions about your unique dental health situation, ask your doctor or dentist.

Why You Must Focus On Protecting Your Dental Health…

April 22, 2011 by Dave

The Picture That Gets Attention

When someone loses their teeth, there is a good chance that they can lose bone from their jaw as well. This can lead to the sunken face appearance that you sometimes see in pictures.  That is a drastic picture to draw for you so I will apologize for doing that.  However, the the “normal’ reality of dental health is actually not far from this.  Let me explain.

You see,  there has been an ancient enemy to the human race that has affected human beings, perhaps since the beginning of our species.  Some may argue that the incidence of dental health problems has increased due to our modern lifestyles and diet.  Did you know that there are things that you can do, beyond regular brushing and flossing to protect your dental health?

There is a book that is very easy to read and discusses this topic.  The name of the book is What You Should Know about Gum Disease – The Layman’s Guide to Fighting Gum Disease.   Do not let the title fool you.  The principles in this book may very well apply to other aspects of dental health as well.   You simply read this book once and leave it on your shelf as a reference for the whole family.

Is There Any Benefit?

Can you imagine saving yourself from expensive dental treatments by understanding a few simple truths about how our mouths work and how we can mitigate the dangers of our modern lifestyles.  What if a little additional understanding gave you the ability to protect your dental health and that of your family better – between your regularly scheduled dental office visits!

Keeping your regular appointments and cleanings is very important.  But the dentist can only see you a few times per year.  Most dentist and hygienists will tell you that what you do at home is the most important thing in regard to protecting you dental health.

pH balance and your mouth

You may have heard of natural healers talking about pH balance for overall health, but did you know that pH balance in your mouth is a very separate but important issue?  In fact, some of the foods that they say are good for your body may actually have a very different effect in your mouth.

Take lemons for example.  Some say they are healthy for your body.  But they are acidic in your mouth and may be responsible for increased plaque as well as directly attacking your teeth via their acidic nature.  Few dentists talk about this obvious things.  But if you were aware of them, you might have a better chance to avoid cavities and perhaps even gum disease.

Special Sugar Actually FIGHTS The Bacteria that Cause Problems

Then there is the matter of xylitol gum.  Did you know that in Finland they discovered about 70 years ago that xylitol can help to reduce the incidence of gum disease. It is well studied and well documented, yet in countries like the United States you can hardly find a doctor or dentist that discusses this with their patients.

A Special Tool For Protecting Your Gum  Health

One of the most helpful tools I have found that actually rescued me from an expensive and potentially painful treatment is the HydroFloss oral irrigator.  This device is allowed me to improve the health of my gum tissue to the point that my own dentist verified that the treatment she had previously recommended was no longer necessary.

I always thought it was interesting that she was unable to tell me about what I could do at home to fix my problem.  Yet, I was able to find something that did on my own.  Wasn’t she the expert?  This was a strange and puzzling situation to my mind.  Nevertheless, I was glad to have found the right answer for me.  The HydroFloss really helped out.

Many More People Have Found Answers Too

Since that time, I have heard from other people who have had a similar story to my own.  The above mentioned book is a great place to start looking for additional information.  Your dental health is precious, isn’t it time to protect it?  Take action today and learn all you can so that you can have a lifetime of great dental health and have a great chance to keep all of your natural teeth.

Just The Cost Of One Expensive Treatment Is Too Much

The expense of treament of cavities, extracted teeth, root canals, crowns and ‘deep cleaning treatments’ are very great.  What if you understood some basic things that could make a big difference?   A small effort can swing big doors!   Your family and your health are precious.

Be sure to check out the book at:  https://WhatYouShouldKnowAboutGumDisease.com

And then read more about the Hydro Floss

How To Make Money Helping Others…

April 17, 2011 by Dave

Unfortunately, there are many unsavory ways to make money.  I think that a person should think about what they are doing when they try to make money.  I think we all have a responsibility to society to do something constructive and good.  Therefore, I cannot advocate gambling or the sale of destructive substances to others.  But this is indeed how many make a living.  Unfortunately, a lot of them make a very good living that way.

If you are like me, you will want to earn your money doing something helpful to people and to society.  That is why I recommend joining our affiliate program at https://www.ToothyGrinsStore.com – you can sign up where it says ‘affiliate’ at the bottom of the page.   You can help me spread the word about prevention and dental health and earn some extra cash in the process.

So many people end up paying a lot of money for expensive treatments, but it does not have to be that way.  Obviously, if brushing and flossing were really all you needed to do , the incident of dental disease should not be so high!  But many people overlook what should be done in addition to regular brushing and flossing.   This is where my book:  What You Should Know about Gum Disease comes in.    You can find it as part of the affiliate program at Toothy Grins Store.

This book discusses many simple things you can do at home, that can help people by allowing them to take a stronger roll in the preventive portion of their dental health. For me personally, I was able to avoid a Scaling and Root Planing (SRP) Treatment and I have not had a single new cavity since I wrote the book.   You see, there really are many helpful things that you should know and do.   When we drink acidic drinks all day and don’t properly balance the pH in our mouth each time, it simply makes it easier for bacteria to reproduce and thereby produce even more acidic toxins.  You can see where this creates a never ending loop of acidity.  Confused?  The book explains it all a lot better!

In addition, the digital form of the book is also available and YOU can earn a 70% commission promoting it.   I give away most of the profit to those promoting the book.  You can join the affiliate program for this digital version of the book at GingivitisKiller.com – you can join that affiliate program which is separate from the affiliate program at Toothy Grins Store and make even more.

So, now you have two ways to earn extra cash that is actually beneficial to people and to society.   Let me know if you have any questions by leaving a comment below.

You can sign up for the Toothy Grins Store affiliate program at https://www.ToothyGrinsStore.com (sign up is at the bottom of the page)

If you would like to give me a call and discuss what you can do to earn extra cash – just give me a call at the number at the above link.

Go forth and help others and earn at the same time!

Practice Dental Self-Defense….

April 15, 2011 by Dave

David
Author: What You Should Know about Gum Disease

The slogan: “Practice Dental Self-Defense” was originally coined by me, I do believe. If I am wrong, please do let me know.

The problem: Many health care practitioners are not really trained in | geared toward | interested in | (pick your phrase) PREVENTION.

If you think about it, the mindset of modern health care, including many in the dental health field is similar to that of a mechanic. “We fix you | your car|  when   | you are | it is | broken”!

Aside from some very limited advice on brushing and flossing, many practitioners do not tell you much about the reasons WHY you should be protecting your dental health or what else you can do IN ADDITION TO brushing and flossing to protect your dental health AND your wallet.

The consequences: You end up with expensive and costly dental treatments at some time in your life.

Returning to to the mechanic | car analogy : Picture this scene: You are driving away from your auto mechanic for the 6th time in 3 years. Each time he has changed your engine and charged you a pretty sum to do so. Pretend for a moment that you do not know what an ‘oil change’ is and no one has ever told you. You just know that you have to get your engine replaced every so often.

But if you “did” know about oil changes, you might save yourself a lot of money, time, pain and hassle. But you don’t!

[End analogy]

I am not a doctor in any way, shape or form, I am just pointing out to you what I believe the reality to be. Brushing and flossing alone are helpful and they are enough for a few people. But the majority of people are still going to run into dental health problems!

I could go on and on about this topic. But suffice it to say that I brushed and flossed more than most people would dream of! I still developed gum disease.

The worst part about that is that, just like most people, I had no idea I had this problem. What makes this even more interesting is that I have a great deal of schooling in the life sciences and I still did not know about this problem!

Dental professionals tell us that up to 75% of people today have some sort of gum disease in their mouth RIGHT NOW! Are you one of them? Chances are you think that you are not! But so do most of the other 75% percent. Like myself, they think they have no problems whatsoever.

Then “suddenly” one day they are told they need a SRP (scaling and root planing treatment or deep cleaning), a loose tooth needs to be pulled and an implant put in,a cavity needs to be filled …. The list goes on and on.

I was “suddenly” told that I needed a deep cleaning and that NOTHING ELSE was going to help me! I was told that If I did not get the treatment done right then and there that I must sign a waiver that it was not the fault of the dental office if I lost my teeth!

That was back in 2005, if memory serves correctly. I never permitted that treatment and I still have all of the teeth that I had back then! My gums are healthy and I have not been drilled for a single cavity since (except for the replacement of an old filling). Now, I cannot guarantee the same results for you because every human body is different. We have different situations, chemistry, knowledge etc. And you should always be under the care of a dentist for your dental health. I definitely advocate professional dental care!

BUT what I have done is learned an awful lot about this problem (gum disease) and a lot about prevention for both gum disease and other dental health issues. PREVENTION can save you a lot of money, time, pain and lost teeth! So I personally think everyone should focus more on prevention! And I hope you agree with me.

If you do, read more at https://www.Gingivitiskiller.com – where you can get a digital copy of my book: What You Should Know about Gum Disease which you can also find in print book form at any online book retailers website. It is also available on itunes (if you have the amazon app) as well as on Kindle!

Second, one of the most useful tools I have discovered is the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator. I have talked to many customers about this tool because I liked it so much that I started to sell it. And I am finding that many people, besides myself, have derived great benefit from utilizing it. And I think you might too!

Finally, if that is not enough, you can call me if you would like to. Just go to ToothyGrinsStore.com and you will find my toll free number plastered on the top of the page. Give me a call if you would like to!

Sincerely,

David Snape

Hydro Floss User Report / Testimonial

March 31, 2011 by Dave

JoAnn Writes:

I cannot tell you enough how much I love the “Hydro Floss”. I’ve had serious periodontal problems and had to have maintenance 4 times a year! I just had the best check up in years. My gums are a healthy pink and my teeth have tightened! I add a a little bit of listerine to the water before using. I wish I had known about this wonderful machine 10 years ago! Thank you so much! Joanne

My Reply

Hi Joanne,

I think that is wonderful news. I am so glad that you are getting the benefits that others have!.

I’m sure I mentioned it before, but the best results seem to come from using the machine twice a day with two reservoirs per use!

Hello David,

It was totally to my surprise, last month when I went to see the Dentist, he said that I had only two teeth [with] 4 mm depth pocket, [the] rest all were 3 mm, and that was normal.
I was just surprised. Earlier it used to be 6 to 7 mm depth[s], and even higher.
I eat nuts, apples, very easily, but not before using Hydrofloss, I would soon start getting a headache.

So, I am, to a great extent thankful to Hydrofloss.

I am seeing my Dentist on Monday, i.e March 28th. Again, and I will talk about Hydrofloss, and its advantages, and see what he says.

My Response

Hi Sherry,

That is great news. I think you should be down to under 3 by now, so I will ask you:

Are you using two reservoirs per use, twice per day?

If not, and you do that, maybe you will find it getting even better?

Thanks for keeping me updated. I’m glad to hear that it is going well!

Strange Metallic Taste in Mouth Disappears…

December 4, 2010 by Dave

I received a call from a customer yesterday who told me that the strange metallic taste in her mouth disappeared after using the Hydro Floss oral irrigator.

Although I do hear from customers who tell me their gingival health has improved, pocket depths have reduced and that they have successfully avoided a SRP (Scaling and Root Planing or Deep Cleaning) treatment, this is the first time I heard about the metallic taste problem. This customer seemed delighted with her results.

You can find the Hydro Floss at https://www.ToothyGrinsStore.com

Please be advised that even though the Hydro Floss helped me and the vast, vast majority of customers that I talk to, there is not guarantee that it will work for you. Every human body is different in a variety of ways. And if you have gum disease, any other dental disease or think that you might – you should be under the care of a dentist or periodontist at all times. You need them to monitor your progress and to make sure you have not gone off course!

Having said that. The studies on the Hydro Floss, published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology – not once, but twice show the effectiveness of the hydro floss over other irrigators that do not and can not use the patented magnetic technology.

The studies were published in the Journal in May of 93 and April of 98
