I’m sitting here enjoying a blueberry smoothie. Blueberries are good for the eyes, they are related to bilberries and bilberries helped the WWII bomber pilots fly missions over Germany in the dark.
I’ve just completed Day 4 of the eye exercises and I have the same effect as mentioned previously. My eyes feel much more relaxed, somehow relieved of stress. It is a good feeling.
As for visual acuity differences, I’m not seeing anything major yet. Yet, keep in mind that this week and through this weekend is seeing me do a lot of near work as I’m putting the finishing touches on my book before it goes to the editor.
Anyway, the exercises really made my eyes feel more relaxed and less stressed. I did the relaxation exercise that I’ll call the ‘lamp technique’. The focusing exercise was good too. I felt like my eyes actually had a work out from that one.
If you want to, you can read more about the program I’m using. I’ve committed to writing about my experiences for at least 25 days.
On another vision improvement note, I spoke to a woman from Canada earlier and she said she had a 90 year old relative that never needed glasses and his secret was the pinhole glasses. But, she said that these glasses had the peripheral vision darked out, unlike the pinholes of today.
She said she thinks that made a difference. Hard to say, I guess. If anyone has experience with this, please let me know
