I recently purchased a Sonicare toothbrush and am very happy with the performance.  Here are some things I really like about it:

  1 It cleans the grit off my teeth, leaving them feeling really smooth.

  2. Its easier to keep stains off my teeth.  (don't ask me why, but I have noticed that)

  3. I need to change the brush heads less often than with the last power brand that I used. 

I was using another brand of electric toothbrush which I had previously thought to be something special.  Compared to the Sonicare, that other-brand toothbrush seemed like a toy.  I was impressed by the way the Sonicare left my teeth feeling very smooth. 

The other-brand required frequent changing of the brush heads to maintain it's ability to clean effectively. Though the manufacturer said it needed to be changed every three months, I found that I had to change them once a month in order to be effective.  According to the directions that came with the Sonicare, I only need to purchase a new brush head once-every-six-months.

    The Sonicare is more expensive. I paid about $75 dollars for it.  I do feel satisfied that it was money well spent.  I know that compared to my old power brush and regular brushing, it can really keep my teeth and gum line clean. I noticed the results on my teeth immediately and saw an improvement in my  gums  before the first week of use was over.

     I was searching for something new because I had to increase the number of visits to the dentist due to plaque buildup.  I realized my old power brush wasn't doing the job.  I decided to purchase the Sonicare after visiting their website and reviewing the information there. 

Thumbs up for Sonicare, it does a great job despite the high price.  I'm glad I spent the money on it.
