Ozone generators are used to oxygenate liquids (like water) and oils at home.

If you have a mouthwash, you can ozonate the mouthwash to make it a more potent germ killer. Or you can just ozonate plain water.

The anaerobic (oxygen hating) bacteria in your mouth, cannot tolerate the presence of too much oxygen. Thus they either stop reproducing and switch back to aerobic (oxygen loving) metabolism or they die.

Either case is a victory for you because by not being able to use anaerobic respiration, they stop secreting the toxins that cause bad breath, cavities and gum disease.
