I just finished reading an article by Peter Nagy entitled: How to Get Rid of Genital Herpes.

The author’s premise is that you cannot get rid of herpes but you can control it and prevent outbreaks.

Peter talks about his experience on medication for herpes and how he didn’t like the side effects, especially when his friends started to notice that “something was wrong”.

Fortunately Peter confided in his friend, in return his friend sent him to the person he knew with the most experience, his grandmother!

She was able to teach Peter what foods to eat and avoid, he mentions some of these tips in his article.

For example This Australian Gvt. website on Herpes states that Genital Herpes is communicable (spreadable) for 7 to 10 days after a primary infection and 4 to 7 days after a recurrent infection.

However, consider that these numbers may not take everything into account. Especially for females, how do you know when that last lesion disappears? (Herpes lesions can rest on the cervix)

Other sources seem to indicate that the disease can be spread without an active outbreak in place. Many people are asymptomatic, may not know they have a weeping lesion or don’t really manifest one.

I think what is interesting to note about this article is that a very large number of people in the world have herpes, currently about 12%.

Another interesting quote from the author is that in a room of 50 people, 5 people have herpes and only one knows about it.
This means that 4 are carriers.

And of course, if they don’t know they have it, they won’t be able to tell others they do either. Therefore, the risk of infection cannot be mitigated (controlled)

I’ve know a couple of people with herpes. For one, it is quite psychologically disturbing that she has it. She told me how terrible it makes her feel.

Some background on herpes: it is currently believed by mainstream medicine that herpes will live in the body forever and all you can do is suppress outbreaks through medication.

The problem, the way modern medicine sees it, is that the herpes virus lives within a cell, lying dormant until conditions are ripe for an outbreak.

Since the virus lives dormant within the cell, it is really hard to get at and kill.

Antivirual drugs are the method of choice for mainstream medicine. They only suppress outbreaks of herpes but do not kill the virus hiding in the human cells.

However, there are alternative healers out there and I have found two websites that I think are worth checking out. Mind you, I have not read the books or used the products that these sites sell. But I have looked at their ‘sales’ copy and I based on some of the things they have said, I think they are worth investigating.

When it comes to herpes, that includes oral herpes, genital herpes or herpes on any other part of the body, you must become educated and fully inform any potential sexual partners of the danger they are in of contracting herpes from you.

This is only fair, and you should not hide the truth from someone you may become intimate with. If you are already intimate with someone and they don’t know you have herpes, you’d better tell them immediately. You are putting them in danger.

Precautions for a non-infected person can be helpful but may not prevent infection. In fact, people can contract herpes even after following reasonable precautions.

Herpes is a contracted by contact. And just because you don’t currently have an outbreak does not mean you are safe from transmitting the disease to others. In fact, you very can transmit the disease even if there is no current outbreak.

If you get cold sores, you most likely have herpes.

There are plenty of dating sites on the Internet for people that already have herpes.

You can live a normal life and have everything that a non-herpes infected person does. But, you have to be educated, know what to do and what not to do, and consider everything possible to keep the disease from spreading further. That includes within your own body and the bodies of others.

In the past ten years recent studies and
research with alternative treatments for
shingles has shown it is possible to

Cold Sores – The Alien Herpes Virus

Cold sores, fever blisters, oral herpes are
3 names for the same thing – a blister or
sore on the face – normally occurring on
the outer edge of your lip or nose.

“Cold sores” is the most common term used
for these hideous, painful and contagious
facial sores. Herpes simplex virus type 1

weeping and crusting phases of your cold
sores.

Symptoms of cold sores begin with a
tingling, dryness sensation, burning,
and/or itching. Cold sores then progress to
these stages: a group of tiny blisters
form, enlarge, and burst to create one
large open sore. In 2 or 3 days a crust
forms over this open, weeping sore and the
healing begins. The skin heals, the crust
falls off, but there is still healing going
on below the new skin – which leaves a red
spot for up to 2 more weeks before cold
sores are considered totally healed.

The entire event for most people averages 3
to 4 weeks -depending on their current
health and on the treatments these folks
used during the various stages of the cold
sores.

For cold sores there is nothing currently
available from medical science or natural
science that will eliminate the herpes
virus from the body. If you want to be cold
