A Misunderstanding on the Hydro Floss Offer or something else?

I received this from someone. This was a bit irritating.

But it happens every so often. This is what happens when we get frustrated and don’t understand the situation:

As with most of these website offers, yours is bogus as well and designed to drive someone to the point of giving up. Instead, I’ve chosen to give you some feedback. There’s is no way in hell to obtain the offer from coupon code A-PER10 as advertised on your website. It applies free shipping (big deal……..there’s free shipping with a $99 offer normally!) and free tube of toothpaste. There’s no way to get the serum that is advertised, and my guess is that the book and other information after the product is received would never be forthcoming either. Thanks for yet another frustrating website offer experience………..

This is my very patient reply:

It seems strange that you would write this to me. The free shipping may be on 99$ orders and up but it is not on available on a 98 dollar product with this vendor. You can only get that with the coupon code or if you bought something extra to push you over the 99$ minimum.

The coupon code does work. And you automatically get the AktivOxigen serum in the same box your Hydro Floss comes in.

It clearly states on the site that you email me your receipt and in exchange I send the link to download the e-book for free.

I put a lot of time and effort into writing that book and it shares a whole lot of information that it is very likely your dentist never told you.

I could focus on the negative aspects of your email, but I choose not to do that.

Instead, I have written back to you clarifying the facts. If you have some further questions, you may ask.

Here is the reply and my follow up. A simple misunderstanding or frustration or what???

If I would automatically get the serum, why does your website add the normal price into my order? Why would I give a credit card number on an order that should be $98 according to the coupon code (including shipping, toothpaste and serum) when even after applying the coupon code the website gives the credit on the toothpaste but adds in the normal price on the serum? Would you do that? If the coupon code is legitimate, then I would expect the total cost to be $98, including the shipping, toothpaste, and serum. I would suggest that you pretend to place an order yourself, and if it works for you, then please share the “secret”, and I will be happy to place my order.

Thank you.

My Reply:

You must have accidently added the serum to your shopping cart.

If you look at the actually line that says Hydro Floss on it, you will see that it says something like:

“Hydro Floss with Aktiv-Oxigen Serum”

Why don’t you try removing the Serum from your shopping cart which will also remove any additional charge?

Person’s reply and the final outcome:

Yes, I’ll try that - thank you for getting back to me

Then:

Thank you Dave - I obviously misjudged your website/advertising, and I apologize. Thank you for walking me through this - I look forward to receiving all products.

Wow - This was a strange communication in my book and speaks to how many of us, including me, tend to react when we feel we have been wronged some how.

Comment below if you have anything you would like to reflect about this conversation.

Thanks

Dave

Hydro Floss - Product Review

hydrofloss[1] This product review is also about my story of fighting back against gum disease. The Hydro Floss was the first tool that I found to actually be useful in that struggle.

It helped my gums to stop bleeding. But it wasn’t just about bleeding gums which are more or less indicative of gum disease.

You see, for years my gums would bleed while the hygienist was cleaning them. I didn’t know any better. I thought it was normal and I didn’t think much of it. I wasn’t told any different and obviously I wasn’t told what to do about it.

Therefore, the problem got progressively worse. It seemed as if it was sudden, but it actually took years to get to this point. One day, I was told that I needed a root scaling and planing treatment because there was tartar (hardened plaque) under my gums.

You see, a root scaling and planing isn’t like a regular cleaning. They actually numb your gums up and then proceed to scrape below the gums down along the root surface. That sounded like it was going to be excruciating when the anesthetic actually wore off. I just plain didn’t like the sound of that.

To make matters worse, I was told that I had to sign a waiver that stated if I didn’t get this cleaning done, they wouldn’t be responsible if I lost my teeth. At this point, I was a little bewildered. I wondered why there wasn’t any warning of this given to me in the past.

I didn’t like what I was experiencing one bit. I decided to refuse the root scaling and planing treatment and try to figure out if there was something else I could do instead.

I searched and searched and decided that I would try the Hydro Floss.

The Hydro Floss is an interesting device that uses magnets. A Journal of Periodontology study had shown good results with the Hydro Floss.

I decided to get one and try it. It was a little messy to use at first. But fortunately it came with an instructional video. I quickly got the hang of it.

The Hydro Floss has turned out to be an indispensable part of my oral care routine. I still use it on a daily basis.

After about five months of using the Hydro Floss, I went back to the dentist for my regularly scheduled cleaning.

The dentist and hygienist seemed a bit perplexed. I was actually told that there was no more tartar build up under the gumline and that whatever I was doing, I should keep it up.

Of course, I’m absolutely delighted by the results. I didn’t have to get that root scaling and planing treatment after all.

That is my story about utilizing the Hydro Floss. I’m glad that I found it and I still use it daily and plan to continue using it on a daily basis.

I would want another one if something happened to mine. Fortunately, they appear to be of very sturdy construction. I’ve had mine for two years and it is still going strong.

The nice thing about the hydro floss is that it helps you to clean your mouth in a better way than just brushing and flossing, in my opinion.
I think this is a good tool to have for many reasons. It’s nice to use it after a meal to get all the food particles that are stuck between your teeth out. It can leave you with a nice, clean feeling that you might not get with regular brushing alone.

One unit comes with 4 tips, so a single Hydro Floss can be used by the whole family.

Hey, it stopped my gums from bleeding!

Hydrofloss - My Dentist Told Me NOT to Buy One

My Dentist Told me NOT to get a Hydrofloss.

I was told that I was going to need a ‘root scaling and planing’ by my hygienist and dentist. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. They said I had tarter buildup under the gum line.

They said I had gingivitis and possibly moderate periodontal disease

But let’s get something straight right from the start, I did buy a hydrofloss. And I’m glad I did. Read on to find out why.

hydrofloss[1]

But I always took good care of my teeth, I silently protested to myself.

I did everything I was supposed too. I brushed many more times a day than recommended and I flossed virtually daily.

Then they told me what an ‘under the gum’ cleaning was and what it entailed. They want use an anesthetic to kill the pain and then use a metal instrument to get underneath the gum and scrape the neck of tooth all the way to the root.

I thought to myself, “that cannot be good for my gums”. If anything it seemed to me they would do more damage than good.

Worse - They wanted to get started right away!.

Fortunately, I have enough experience and wisdom to know that it isn’t always wise to do something spur of the moment, especially something like this.

I told them I needed to think it over and do some research.

That turned out to be one of the wiser moments of my life.

I went home and researched the snot out of gum disease and this ‘root scaling and planing’ stuff.

Everything out there seemed to indicate that I needed to get this ‘root scaling and planing’ done and that it was no big deal. But - I was still incredibly skeptical.

So I started asking around. And you know what? I found out that a lot of people are having this treatment done, including my own sister!

She told me that she felt that it made her gums WORSE!. She didn’t seem happy about it at all. Seems like dentists across the nation are pushing this kind of treatment recently. I didn’t like that.

Ok, so this left me with a dilemma - The dentist even told me that if we didn’t do something that I could lose my teeth!

I wasn’t about to let that fly. No Way am I going to lose my teeth.

But I wasn’t going for this ‘root scaling and planing’ stuff either.

I dug deeper in my research. Little by little the truth seemed to emerge.

It is no longer any surprise to me that people get gingivitis and periodontal disease.

It seems that dentistry has known for a while that it is important to wash the neck of the teeth. (the place where the gums visibly meet the teeth. It looks like the neckline of a shirt) But for some reason they don’t tell us that. And for the majority of people, not doing this leads to gum disease.

Busted.

I think it might be a lot like tires that never wear out for the life of the car or a carburetor that get 120 miles to the gallon. We have the technology but creating such products would hurt the bottom line of certain industries.

Shoot, I bet that a lot of dentists don’t even know the truth!

Anyway, I was looking to find out what I could do to save my teeth and restore the health of my gums.

I stumbled across this:

hydrofloss[1]They Hydrofloss - Your friend!

Your personal tooth and gum redeemer!

I called my dentist, she told me NOT to get one, that I didn’t need it, and to save my money on a cheaper product.

I’d done enough research to know that I shouldn’t always blindly take the advice of ‘professionals’ in any field.

I didn’t listen. I got the Hydrofloss. I used it. I loved it.

And most importantly of all,

IT GOT RESULTS!

When I went back to my dentist and hygienist six months later they were impressed. It seems they believed I no longer needed the root scaling and planing and that the tarter buildup was NO LONGER below the gum line.

My dentist even said, “keep it up”. Meaning that I should keep taking care of my teeth and gums with the Hydrofloss.

But did my dentist apologize for telling me not to get the Hydrofloss? NOT.

Interestingly enough she didn’t care that she told me not to get one. But if I hadn’t gone ahead and bought the Hydrofloss against her advice, I may not have experienced healthier gums.

But even if you buy or have bought a Hydrofloss, do you know how to use one?

I’ve had my Hydrofloss for a long time now and I’ve learned a lot of tips and tricks on how to use it.

And remember - I was on a mission to SAVE MY TEETH.

So I focused in with laser like intensity on how to use the Hydrofloss to keep my teeth and save my gums!

Don’t get me wrong, the directions that come with Hydrofloss are good, but I don’t think they are as good as what I’ve come up with.

I’ve put a lot of time into learning how to use the Hydrofloss to get the maximum benefits.

And I know what other tools to use in conjunction with the Hydrofloss to get the maximum benefit with the least amount of effort.

I’m putting all of this knowledge into a report that you can have for FREE.

Here is how you get my free report along with your very own Hydrofloss.
