Master Cleanse Diet – You’d Better Think Twice

Lots of hype has been flying around about cleansing diets lately.

I’ve written quite a few articles on weight loss and I’m close to forty years old and I’m not fat by any definition.

Let me tell you something about dieting. Anytime you fast, you are probably going to lose weight. What you need to understand is that fasting is short term weight loss.

It doesn’t follow long term principles and unless you understand how to lose weight and keep it off – you are going to eventually get those pounds back again.

You will feel good, temporarily, on a Fast. You can’t fast for the long term. There is going to come a time when you get tired of fasting anyway. And what was once a temporary ‘feel good’ from fasting will turn into a chronic feeling of tiredness. Why? Because you are starving your body of nutrients – that’s why.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need to understand long term weight loss principles.

Fad dieting is just that, a fad. It may work short term, but you will quickly run into problems. It cannot last. Long term weight loss principles are what you need to get rid of those extra pounds and keep them off.
