Meditation and You: Learn to Relax and Enjoy

By Dave / June 30, 2007

Have you tried meditationyet?

Meditation is something that I think everyone should experience. I find that even a few minutes of meditation can totally calm a frazzled mind, though 30 to 60 minutes is my usual routine.

If you haven’t yet experienced what it is like to have your mind slow down, you don’t know what you are missing.

The time spent meditating can not only relax the mind but it seems like it can energize the body as well.

I never have any trouble sleeping. I pretty much am out shortly after putting my head on the pillow at night.

I think this may be due to ‘clean living’ and being a little more free from much of the frustration and stress that plagues so many people today.

Even amidst a busy lifestyle, if you can find the time to get just a little meditation in, you may find it to be just what you needed to start getting some balance back into your life.

I can tell the difference when I skip meditation even for a day, but after two days, I absolutely feel it.

My body is much more energized and even ‘buoyant’ (don’t know how else to describe the light, calm and energized feeling) when I practice meditation and less so when I skip two days.

As you can imagine, I don’t like to skip meditation if it can be avoided.

Here is the meditation practice I personally use. :

You will need realplayer installed to watch it and if you are on a dial up connection, it might take a while. You can get the player for free at the RealPlayer.com website.

If you want to skip the video and just read about it, try this link:

To your good health,
