More on Fighting Gum Disease

By Dave / April 29, 2007

When it comes to fighting an existing case of gum disease, we need all the tools we can get to help us.

I’ve been using an essential oil blend that has proven to be useful, especially when away from home.

The bottle it comes in has a nice safety lid that doesn’t spill even when I carry it with me in a bag filled with all kinds of stuff.

I like to use this oil blend after eating and when I don’t have the mouthpaste or anything else available to clean my teeth. If you can carry a toothbrush with you, this is great to use with it.

But even without a toothbrush, I put a couple of drops in my mouth and let it mix with my saliva. It works great. And it will also help prevent bad breath as well.

You can read more about it here:

When it comes to fighting gum disease, I use a variety of tools. And this essential oil blend is just one of them.

I’ve been reading a lot about gum disease and health lately and it is possible that the seriousness of gum disease is even greater than previously believed.

This concept of infection finding its way to other parts of the body through the infected gums is gaining more respect among professionals all the time.

Study after study is documenting and validating the truth of the matter. It could turn out that the health of our gums is something that is absolutely critical to pay attention to.

You can see the list of tools I’m currently using (except for dental floss and brush picks – which I also use daily) here:

And I have some gum disease archives listed here:

All right, – If you have any questions feel free to ask.
